Kaslo, British Columbia

Half way up the northern arm of Kootenay Lake is Kaslo, home to the "Kaslo Jazz Fest". An extremely beautiful diversified community of artisans and resource citizens. Stunning snow capped peaks and the clear waters of Kootenay Lake draw history buffs, fishers, and tourists to "mini Europe."
