SELKIRK PEAK

Adjacent to Idaho Peak at 7625', it's a rocky peak on the divide between Carpenter and Silverton Creeks in the Kokanee Range and about midway along Silver Ridge (Sourdough Trail). The area around the summit was heavily mined during the mining boom in the "Silvery Slocan" during the late 1800's and early 1900's.
