Mt. Vingolf

Located 8 km W of Slocan Lake, and 4 km S of Shannon Creek. Mount Vingolf (9364 ft./2584m) is an attractive peak which sticks up impressively well above tree line, yet offers a variety of easy scrambling routes. It is located in the Ruby Range of the Valhalla mountains, west of the north end of Slocan Lake. It can be climbed as a day trip from the locality of Hills.
