Mt. Reco & Mt. Payne

Large alpine peak with a big south face and a number of alpine ridges. Mount Reco (8235ft./2510m) lies on the divide between Carpenter Creek and Seaton Creek at the north end of the Kokanee Range. Mount Payne (6,380 ft / 1,945 m) is adjacent to Mt. Reco and above the historic ghost town of Sandon.
